Building a new asset class for people and planet
We need to go back to the drawing board on what money is and is for, says Emma Shaw.
Emma is focused on reimagining wealth and investment with the Emerging Futures team, to influence how we mobilise the capital required to support and speed up the transition to more equitable and just futures, where people and planet can thrive. Drawing on her experience as Co-founder of the social enterprise, Library of Things, and her studies of plants and ecosystems, Emma is particularly interested in the deep design of ownership, funding and governance models that are fair and regenerative by design. She received the national Innovate UK Women in Innovation Award in 2021 for her work on innovative impact funding models.
